Art As Passion - The Exhibit

Art As Passion - Reception Announcement

Art As Passion

A Group Show by Non-Professionals

The Art Depository in Nicholasville is hosting a group show of 20 non-professional artists from Jessamine and surrounding counties. Their works of heart can be seen in downtown Nicholasville, KY from February 1, 2006 through March 11, 2006.

An artist’s reception will be held on February 17, 2006 from 4 pm until 8 pm so the surrounding communities can meet and support our local talent.

This eclectic exhibit includes works created by teenagers through seniors, abstract to realism, country to classic; the one thing they have in common, is their need to create art. These artists have gathered their creations at the Art Depository to show the community the talent that lies within. Included will be wood carvings by Dick Mathy, Ron Almquist, and Margaret Stafford; paintings by Bill Holland, Josh Lay, Elizabeth Anders, Rachel Coulter, Linda Hayden, Angie Blair, Hallie Brunson, and Morgan Rankin; jewelry by Jnana Rieger; photographs by Palma Chapman; watercolors by Robert Davis, Jennifer Slugantz, E.C. Seeley, Jack Clotfelter, and Mary Tolman; ceramic masks by Cindi Fulton.
